I’m Alexis. I grew up in Miami in a Cuban family, speaking Spanish at home and surrounded by an international community. That shaped a lot of who I am — open, curious, and comfortable moving between different cultures and perspectives.

I studied mechanical engineering at Duke because I’ve always loved physics and understanding how things work. After graduating, I joined Deloitte and worked on fast-paced M&A projects, which taught me how to manage complex teams, stay organized under pressure, and keep big projects moving.

​

Eventually I wanted to explore design more deeply, so I moved to London to study Design Engineering at Imperial. I’ve stayed here since.

​

I’m a positive person who loves animals and nature, and I’m happiest when I’m surrounded by a fun team of people building something cool.
